Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for the Slaab mobile application and its "Pro" subscription, provided by DEFT AND TACT SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Deft & Tact", "we", "us" or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
1. Digital subscription, not a physical product
Slaab is a software subscription service. It does not involve the sale or delivery of any physical goods, so there is nothing to cancel in the traditional sense before dispatch — cancellation here means stopping future subscription renewals.
2. Billing through Apple App Store and Google Play
Pro subscriptions purchased from within the mobile App are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Because these platforms process the payment, they also handle cancellations and refunds according to their own policies and timelines, which apply in addition to this Policy.
3. Payments made via Razorpay (website purchases)
If you purchase or renew a Slaab plan directly through our website rather than through the App, that payment is processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Razorpay handles the payment transaction on our behalf; we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
- Cancelling a Razorpay-billed subscription: you can cancel future renewals at any time directly within the Slaab App (Account → Subscription → Cancel), from your account settings on the website, or by emailing support@deftntact.com. Cancellation stops the next auto-debit; it does not itself refund a payment already collected.
- Refunds for Razorpay payments: unlike app-store purchases, we are able to process refunds for website payments directly. Eligible refund requests are initiated by us through Razorpay and are credited back to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank or card network's own processing time.
- Failed or duplicate charges: if Razorpay reports a failed transaction that was nonetheless debited, or a duplicate charge, contact us with your payment reference ID and we will investigate and refund any amount confirmed as erroneous.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Slaab → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play app → Menu → Subscriptions → Slaab → Cancel.
- Razorpay billing (in-app or website): from the Slaab App under Account → Subscription → Cancel, from your account's billing settings on the Slaab website, or by emailing support@deftntact.com.
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the App from your device, or not logging into the website, does not by itself cancel your subscription. Once cancelled, you can continue using Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law, by the policy of the app store you purchased through, or as described above for Razorpay-billed website payments. Because Apple and Google process payments directly, refund requests for those purchases must be made to them rather than to us:
- Apple App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
- Google Play: request a refund through the Google Play app (Menu → Order history) or at support.google.com/googleplay.
- Website (Razorpay): email support@deftntact.com with your payment reference ID; see Section 3 above for how these refunds are handled.
We are not able to directly refund a purchase made through Apple or Google, but we're happy to help point you to the right place if you contact us.
6. Free trials and promotional offers
If a subscription starts with a free trial or introductory offer, you will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. No refund is available for the period you already used before cancelling.
7. Account deletion
Deleting your Slaab account does not automatically cancel an active app-store or Razorpay-billed subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Apple, Google, or your website account settings as described above in addition to deleting your account, to make sure you are not billed for future periods.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
