This Privacy Policy explains how DEFT AND TACT SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (“Deft & Tact”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Slaab mobile application (the “App”) on Apple iOS and Google Android devices and any related services (together, the “Service”).
Slaab is a business application that enables sales and marketing teams in indoor and outdoor surfacing businesses to digitally showcase products in photorealistic spaces and materials. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following information:
- Account information: your email address and password, or the basic profile details (such as name and email) shared when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- Profile and business details: information you add, such as your name, company, role, and contact details.
- Content you create: inspirations you view, materials you browse, items you save to Collections, and the designs and Projects you build in the App.
- Images you upload: photographs of spaces or rooms used to visualize materials and surfaces, including through visualization and AI features.
- Usage and device data: how you use the App, including your searches, filters (such as category and colour), and selections, plus device model, operating system, app version, identifiers, approximate location (from IP address), and crash logs.
- Subscription and Pro status: if you subscribe to Slaab Pro, we receive your subscription status from the app store. Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and we do not collect or store your payment card details.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact support or send feedback.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, provide and improve the App’s features, process images for visualization, save your Collections and Projects, manage your subscription, personalize content, respond to your requests, keep the Service secure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. AI features and image processing
When you use AI-assisted visualization features, the image you upload is processed to generate the result you requested. This processing may be carried out by trusted third-party AI or cloud providers acting on our behalf. Please avoid uploading images containing sensitive personal information or images of people who have not consented.
Some AI features, such as AI Generate and AI Try-On, are currently marked “Coming Soon” and are not yet active. When we launch them, they will involve processing the images you provide, and such processing will be covered by this Policy.
4. Designs you save, download, and share
The App lets you save materials to Collections, organize your work into Projects, and download or share the designs you create. In connection with these features:
- Collections and Projects: the materials, designs, and projects you save are stored as part of your account so you can return to them.
- Download: when you download or export a design, a copy is saved to your device, and you are then responsible for that copy.
- Share: when you share a design, the image or link you generate may be accessible to anyone you send it to or who obtains the link. Please be mindful of any personal or confidential information visible in an image before sharing it.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting, AI processing, authentication, analytics, and support), when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us.
6. Third-party sign-in (Google and Apple)
You can create an account or log in using third-party sign-in services provided by Google and Apple. If you choose to use them, the following applies:
- What we receive: limited profile information from the provider, such as your name and email address, based on the permissions you grant. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
- Sign in with Apple – Hide My Email: if you choose this option, Apple gives us a private relay email address instead of your real address, and forwards our messages to you through Apple’s relay service.
- How we use it: we use this information only to create and authenticate your account and to provide the Service.
- Governed by their policies: your use of Google or Apple sign-in is subject to the respective provider’s privacy policy and terms, and they may collect and process your data according to their own policies.
- Revoking access: you can review or revoke Slaab’s access at any time from your Google Account settings or your Apple ID settings; doing so may prevent you from logging in with that method.

7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Residents of India (under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and California (under the CCPA/CPRA) have additional rights, including grievance redressal and the right to know and delete. 10. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time through the in-app deletion option (where available) or by emailing support@deftntact.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We will delete or de-identify your data unless we are required to retain it by law.
11. Children’s privacy
Slaab is a business tool intended for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. International data transfers
We are based in India and may process information in India and other countries where we or our service providers operate, using appropriate safeguards where required.
13. App store disclosures and payments
Our handling of data through Apple services (including Sign in with Apple) follows Apple’s requirements and is reflected in the App’s App Privacy details. The data we collect also corresponds to the Data safety section declared on Google Play. Where any store summary differs, this Policy describes our actual practices. Where you purchase a Pro subscription, billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; we receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your full payment details.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
